19th May 2015, London - ZenithOptimedia today announces the appointment of Mike Clear as Head of Production, Newcast UK. Clear joins the agency in the newly created role within Newcast, ZenithOptimedia’s specialist branded content and experience division.

In his new role at ZenithOptimedia, Clear will be responsible for leading the agency’s original content production offering within Newcast UK. The appointment further strengthens the agency’s content offering following the appointment of Christine Beardsell as Managing Director of Newcast UK last year.

Clear joins Newcast from DigitasLBI where he was Head of Branded Content, overseeing digital content creation for clients including Sony Xperia, Barclays, Carlsberg, and Cunard. Prior to this, Clear was at Mother London where he was responsible for producing TV campaigns for PG Tips, Diet Coke, Boots and Pot Noodle - for whom he also produced the first branded musical at the Edinburgh festival.
