Michael’s a high academic performer who decided that University wasn’t the route he wanted to pursue. His choices at A-level were driven by personal interests and wanting to keep his options open for his career.
At school Michael enjoyed the numerical challenge that Economics presented, but his inquisitive nature also wanted to understand the Global economy. An ‘A’ at maths GCSE demonstrates Michael’s naturally ability with numbers along A’s and B’s in all his other GCSEs. Michael enjoyed stepping up and taking a leadership role at school, being voted into a Senior Prefect (the vote was cast by teacher and students). He was working with the school governors, senior leadership team, his fellow students and supporting the younger students in the school, a role where Michael homed in his communication skills.
Outside of education Michael has been developing his professional skill set too, working at Harrods and for his family business. The family business is a wedding company which require as eye for detail and management of staff during events.
Michael’s academic background and strong communication skills would suit his chosen career path working in a media agency or media role.
